We lose ourselves in the things we love. We find ourselves there too.  - Kristen Martz

One of life’s great rewards is to have work you get to do rather than got to do. Often we assume there is a trade off. Security ( an illusion at best ) for bliss. For the better part of my life I have  been blessed enough to tarry on the bliss end of the deal.

Until I was 40 years old I was an artist ( a singer ) with a series of day-gigs to get by on when I wasn’t able to find work singing. Getting a job just interrupted my job search. I could never really wander from my one true love. When I turned the ripe old age of 22 I found another love.  I have been doing Readings ever since. There have been ups and downs all along the way. Love isn’t always easy. From a certain perspective there have been some pretty hard times. From another POV it is always been just a matter of time.

Commitment is not something I take lightly or do readily. I don’t have a lot of experience in the C-Zone because doing what you love requires no commitment. When you follow your heart you don’t have to sign a contract to receive benefits. Even in personal relationships the most rewarding ones are the ones we easily fall into. There is no obligation to be with someone we feel happy being with. You don’t wrangle for your freedom because that person, your love,  is your freedom. You want for nothing because the relationship fills you up and sets you free at once. That’s what doing what you love or following your bliss is. Freedom.

I believe in love.

I believe in bliss.

I believe I am blessed.

We make our own choices.

I made the choice a very long time ago to be a believer because to be a doubter took more energy than I could muster. And to be a non-believer is no fun at all. So, I believe for me and I believe for you. I believe we are here to find our bliss and make a happy home there. I also know we humans tend to stray. We are easily distracted by shiny objects and the scent of a strange perfume.

The road home is long when you have not been back there for awhile. When too tired to be tested we need to be the “rainbow in someone else’s cloud” Maya Angelou is so fond of talking about. We find our way gracefully when we help another traveler along the path. You see we have to focus. Focus on what we love. Lose the distractions.

I have never been one to say “yes” when I mean “no.”

I flat out refuse to suffer a “maybe” for long.

As I am so impatient I must remain more prayerful than most.

My prayer for you ( and myself ) today is for you to keep well and prosper. Find a way to feel blissfully blessed every single day you are alive. Have work you get to do and have a love that sets you free. Nothing less. And oh…  so much more.

Carpe Punctum!! ( Seize the moment! )

*For all those in The Friday’s Child Circle Of Prayer and for all those in need. We send… Love, Light and Oceans of Bliss for the Highest Good of All. And so it is.

Have a sweet one!
