“Don’t go through life, grow through life.” – Eric Butterworth
I offered you, my readers, spiritual tools all this month to get you moving in a positive direction. I hope you found them to be of benefit and that they help you to achieve more prosperity this year. Positive rituals are helpful. But the finest spiritual tools you will ever wield will forever be your mind and your heart. Your mind has the ability to choose daily whether you will be a winner or a whiner. Your heart embraces or rejects what life offers you.
Life offers us ‘The Deluxe Assortment’ of trials and joys when we have a sense of adventure and decide to live it to the fullest. The ability to grow through experience is elective. You either handle life or it handles you. And it won’t always handle you with care as you may well know. Friends, family, and a family of friends will help us through the rough spots and early planning stages of getting our act together. If you don’t have friends? Make some! We don’t do well without them so if you have intimacy issues or you are too angry or whiney to allow yourself to be loved figure it out yesterday. Do not allow fear to keep you from joining in the dance of victory over the proverbial veil of tears. Share your life. Offer your heart willingly and there will always be takers. Winners have big hearts and more than enough love to share. Whiners live and breathe scarcity.
Edna St. Vincent Millay wrote: “My heart is warm with the friends I make, / And better friends I’ll not be knowing; / Yet, there isn’t a train I’d rather take, / No matter where it’s going.” Edna was one cool chic. Edna was ready for the bumpy ride on the choo-choo train of life. Edna was a fun gal. Edna wasn’t a whiner and she was a terrific writer.
Our ability to go through or grow through experiences and share our lives with others makes all the difference.
Yes, I realize that everyday is not a party and there isn’t always something wonderful to shout about. Trust that your beautiful mind will sort it out. Know that your heart will make room for all of it. The joy and the madness.
And when all other words of wisdom or philosophy fails to help me to grow through it?
I just go with; ” Some days there won’t be a song in your heart. Sing anyway. ”
And, ” No one likes a whiner. ”
We send… Love, Light and Oceans of Bliss for the Highest Good of All.
And so it is!
