Even hundredfold grief is divisible by love. – Terri Guillemets
By the time Friday’s Child is posted next week we will have celebrated or cursed Thanksgiving and the Holiday’s to come. It’s supposed to be the most wonderful time of the year. Family and friends gather from near and far to share precious time, love each other, and eat our faces off. I normally enjoy every minute of the five to six weeks of holiday cheer.
This year is different.
And I am not the only person who feels this way. I talk to people for a living and most everyone I talk to is simply not into the whole put a bow on it idea this year. There really isn’t anything in particular to grieve over. No real sadness. No real madness. There is just this feeling that ( for myself ) I can’t wait for the bloody season to be over so we can all resume our everyday ennui or joy without all of the pressure to be feeling things we could not care less about.
We are coming to the end of a 7 year. Seven is the number of Spirit. We have all learned more about Spirit this year than some of us were prepared know. Anything that is not real and rooted in Spirit did not make the give a damn cut this year. We are coming into an 8 year. Eight is the number of power. Things that waste our time and energy will not be tolerated. This is why so many of us can barely sit still until January 2, 2015 comes round. There is a feeling already that we must reserve our foolishness.
If you don’t figure out how to become who you want to be when you grow up in an 8 year, you will need another decade to catch up.
Our holiday’s over the last sixty some years have gone from being heartfelt and true to a time filled with more consumerism nonsense than Black Friday can possibly hold in it’s black heart. It is a complete waste of time, energy, and power to do all of that fussing, spending, and trying to outdo the experience we had last year. Since when are the holiday’s a time to compete with yourself and others? Hoopla at this time of year is Spiritually Incorrect. We went astray and it’s time to right the crooked way.
Spirit and the gifts of Spirit are the only things that matters. That was the big lesson this year. Most of us know this now and will have a terrible time of faking anything from here on out. Look, here’s the thing. Enjoy your holiday’s by keeping them simple. Keep them easy. Be thankful and spread the Spirit of Light. Save your money energy and offer love instead of silly things no one needs. It’s what the world needs now more than ever – love. Our love and only our love.
Why are we feeling restless and unable to participate in the usual way? It’s not usual times and our soul knows this. Do yourself a solid and relax rather than stress this holiday season. You now know the truth about the season. Once you know the truth nothing less will do. So, go easy.
Sending… Love, Light and Oceans of Bliss for the Highest Good of All.
And so it is!
