I AM REALISTIC – I EXPECT MIRACLES
Dr Wayne Dyer
My initial spiritual experiences came from music. Gospel music. Then came Zen. Siddhartha. Old school Theosophy. Metaphysics. A Course In Miracles. Louise Hay. Wayne Dyer. Of all these influences Aunt Louise and Uncle Wayne are the ones I find I have consistently used in my life. Use then passed along to anyone that I felt needs a little help along the path.
About ten days ago I saw an old photo of Wayne and Louise on-line. Photographic images hold a lot of energy.
I am alone most of the time. I talk to myself. Outloud. I said; ” Wayne will go first and soon.” I felt sad but I also felt it was the way he would have wanted it. That despite the age difference Uncle Wayne would cross over first and gladly. Ready for his next adventure. Not that he planned it. His work schedule clearly indicated he expected to be with us for a good while. Still, I am certain he did not die with his music still in him. Wayne Dyer lived from May 10, 1940 – August 29, 2015 and his music will play on.
” That music that you hear inside of you urging you to take risks and follow your dreams is your intuitive connection to the purpose in your heart since birth. Be enthusiastic about all that you do. Don’t die with your music still in you. ”
I have been posting Wayne Dyer Wisdom on my social network sites all this week. Everything he had to say was so worth hearing. I am doing what I can do to honor him. Hay House wants to honor him with 3 million views of his movie The Shift. It is a free download so if you have time to watch it on this long Labor Day Weekend.

Wayne Dyer had so many quotable quotes. Other than the ones I have already mentioned the five I have listed below are the ones that spark with me the most. Time and time again they have been a source of lifting me when I am feeling a little lost and unable. The one I aspire to daily is number five. When you admire something in others it is clearly an attribute your soul desires. A quality you either already possess and need to recognize as a blessing. Or an attribute you need to foster into becoming in order to shore up that abundance cornerstone. If you are interested in attracting people to you of like mind and fulfilling your purpose this is a good place to start.
Be the ______ you seek in others and be it gladly.
- Doing what you love is the cornerstone of having abundance in your life.
2. The only limits you have are the limits you believe.
3. If you don’t make peace with your past, it will keep showing up in your present
4. When life looks difficult, remember that you’re only one thought removed from peace.
Dr Dyer did not have a perfect life. He came from ragtag beginnings. Alcoholic and co-dependent parents, poverty, abuse, foster care and the word dysfunction does not even begin to cover it. He had his own battles to fight as an adult as well. Three failed marriages, too many mouths to feed, alcoholism, anger management, and being at ease in the world as is in general.
The fact that he was so very human and had so much trouble getting it right made him all the more lovable. Who wants to learn a lesson from a saint? It is far more appealing to be schooled by someone who has been there and done it imperfectly themselves. No, he was not a perfect man. He did not need to be. He was a perfect teacher. A perfect teacher that forever changed the way we look at things. I for one will be eternally grateful for his Light, Wisdom, and Humor.
Thank you a million times over Wayne Dyer. ~ You made such a difference in our lives. We are all the richer for knowing and loving you. Enjoy your new adventure!
Sending Love, Light and Oceans of Bliss …
And so it is!
